Special Area

In 1995 he was commissioned to house coins from England, issuing no less than 56 million $ 1 coins. Upon receiving the coins in Argentina, it was observed that instead of saying "United Provinces of the Rio de la Plata", "ProvinGias ..." he said. England accepted his mistake, but the coins were to start circulating.

Obviously that did not go unnoticed and great was the astonishment of currency users. There were those who, in unscrupulously sell these copies as a "rarity" and came to do business, for a currency that has 56 million equal. Today these coins circulate freely in Argentina, and nobody is surprised by the famous "PROVINGIAS".
